Do you want to know yet another delightful place to visit on Whidbey Island? Greenbank Farm is a 151 acres of fertile, publicly owned space complete with a historic farm located in the center of the island.
Coming through a hail storm my husband and I turned a corner in the road and the sun was shining, meadowlarks were singing and delicious smells were wafting out of a quaint cafe. Despite being on a mission to get to Deception Pass we just had to stop.
Once there we learned that there are four areas that the farm focuses on: local commerce, agriculture, recreation and natural resource stewardship. My husband liked the solar panel array and the community garden plots and I was intrigued by the Master Gardener demonstration garden and of course, the cheese shop.
I'd love to hear from you!
