Lughnasadh or Lammas is one of the first of the harvest festivals. It’s a time to start reaping the bounty of the garden and begin to accept that summer will soon draw to a close.
Many people celebrate this day by harvesting and cooking a big meal and in some circles celebrating the Celtic god Lugh. I like to get up at sunrise, pick ripe tomatoes, juicy beans, sweet beets and zuchinni then cook up a garden feast!
I'd love to hear from you!
