The University of Washington Center for Public Health Nutrition (UW-CPHN) recently released the Opportunities for Increasing Access to Healthy Foods in Washington Report. This cutting-edge report includes:
- a comprehensive overview of Healthy and Food Insecurity, Agriculture, and Environmental Concerns in Washington
- perceived barriers and enhancers to a healthy food system identified in interviews with over 60 leaders and stakeholders representing all components of Washington’s food system from production to resource and waste management
