Are there really nine community kitchens now running in the Puget Sound Region? Yes! From the Wallingford Community Senior Center kitchen to the Snoqualmie Valley kitchen, neighbors are cooking up community every where you look. To celebrate, the community kitchen chefs are all getting together on Friday, June 4 to cook up a big dinner at the Wallingford Community Senior Center. We will be making seasonal spring green salads, luscious vegetarian main dishes and of course, a fruity and creamy desert.
Come out and celebrate and hear from PCC’s own Goldie Caughlin as she talks about the local food movement. Tickets are just twenty dollars and all proceeds go to help get needed supplies for local community kitchens. To buy tickets go here.
